Andy spent much of his twenties enjoying life at sea as an Air Engineer Officer in the Royal Navy, operating Sea King helicopters globally from a broad range of ships.

He also participated in peacekeeping operations in Eastern Europe and the Gulf. After leaving the Service, Andy completed his MBA at Imperial College, London. His thesis was a ‘Strategic Assessment of the Luxury Yacht Management Business’, which is when he was introduced to a young company called Hill Robinson!

A keen snowboarder, Andy’s favourite resorts are Whistler in Canada and Verbier in Switzerland. It’s hard not to enjoy making fresh tracks!

A 9-year sales role at Barclays Investment Bank followed, providing Treasury Risk Management facilities for UK Corporates. Still enthused by the superyacht sales market, Andy identified the corporate jet and superyacht lending book as an untapped sector, and quickly executed trades with owners. In the latter years Andy provided subject matter expertise on banking disputes and litigation, which often required mediation to settle. Andy leads the Sales team, specialising in superyacht sales and is based in London.
