About The Wellesley

Offered for charter by The Wellesley, one of London’s finest and most prestigious hotels, this 56.20m superyacht of the same name is a perfect example of six-star luxury.

The yacht was built by OceanCo in 1993 and underwent a total interior renovation as well as an extension of seven metres in 2016.  Today, THE WELLESLEY mirrors the hotel’s famous art deco design with an interior by Dennis Irvine Studios.

Aboard THE WELLESLEY, there is accommodation for 12 guests in six superlative suites. Comprising four doubles and two twins (that can be converted to doubles), guests will find luxurious carpets underfoot, en suites finished with fine marble and spacious arrangements that are indulgently appointed. The master stateroom is located on the upper deck and features a walk-in closet as well as floor-to-ceiling windows. Also on the upper deck is one of the convertible suites, which adjoins the master via the closet. A second master suite is found on the main deck and there’s arguably a third principal suite on the lower deck, which spans the yacht’s full beam and boasts a huge en suite complete with hot tub.

The yacht’s various lounges and social spaces offer ample scope for entertaining family and friends, be it for lavish drinks parties and dinners, casual dining or quieter conversations in the study and club lounge.

When it comes to deck space, there’s a sizeable bathing platform and beach club with sun loungers at the water’s edge, an enormous aft deck lounge, a huge expanse of sun pads on the upper deck and, on the sun deck, an eight-person Jacuzzi is THE WELLESLEY’s crowning glory.

THE WELLESLEY is well equipped for recreation and relaxation, with an on-deck cinema setup, a selection of gym equipment, huge array of fishing tackle, and even a golf tee for you to fire fish-food golf balls off the swim platform.

When it comes to water toys, THE WELLESLEY has two SeaDoo jet skis, two SeaBobs, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, water skis and wakeboards, and even an inflatable water slide – all ready for use under the crew’s experienced guidance.

THE WELLESLEY has a 16-knot top speed, stabilisers at anchor and underway, and operates with a crew of 12.
