As part of its ongoing support of numerous philanthropic causes, Moravia Yachting recently hosted a special charity event, supported by the 65m (213ft) charter superyacht ETERNITY, to help raise awareness for CorStone. An international non-profit organisation, CorStone empowers marginalised and vulnerable youth, especially girls and young women, with the skills to transform their life trajectories and forge a path for future generations.
This very special evening was curated by Alastair Callender, who runs the Americas region for Moravia Yachting. As part of Alastair’s various philanthropic work, he wanted to host this event onboard ETERNITY to shine a light on the wonderful impact of this organisation.
CorStone’s philosophy of ‘working from the inside out’ has proven both effective and highly scalable. Results from CorStone programmes conducted across India, Kenya, and Rwanda have revealed significant impacts on mental and physical health and wellbeing, quality education, prevention of early marriage and trafficking, and gender equality.
Furthermore, recent agreements with the governments of India and Kenya will institutionalise CorStone’s ‘Youth First’ programme in over 50,000 schools, impacting over 5 million students and 100,000 teachers annually by 2025, all at a cost of less than $1.00 per child per year.
Those in attendance were honoured to hear about this extraordinary work directly from CorStone Founder & CEO Steve Leventhal and India Country Director Nandita Bhatla, as well as the remarkable success stories stories of how the organisation has helped children out of poverty. “The evening was very impactful, and the result of this special event will transform millions of lives,” Alastair reflects. “It is so rewarding for me to know that this gathering will create a generational ‘ripple effect’ for so many people in communities that need it most. CorStone’s positive impact is immeasurable.”

The unique event to raise money for CorStone’s inspirational work was all made possible thanks to the generosity of ETERNITY’s owner, who donated the yacht for the evening, as well as her world-class crew. Captain Alden and his crew ensured the event was a tremendous success and guests enjoyed delicious canapés prepared by ETERNITY’s talented Chef Nick.
