Broker Spotlight – Giuseppe Carosso

As part of a series of conversations with the Moravia brokerage team, Giuseppe Carosso conveys his dedication to client satisfaction.

Having been a sales broker for nearly two decades, Giuseppe Carosso has sold over 300 yachts, both motor and sail, during his career to date. In 2005, he founded his own brokerage company where he represented many prestigious new-build shipyards. With this impressive track record, Giuseppe has garnered a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Throughout this period, Giuseppe worked in close collaboration with the Hill Robinson Group on many projects. It was a natural progression, therefore, when Giuseppe joined the growing sales team at Moravia Yachting in 2023. In this role, Giuseppe aims to further brokerage, new construction, and charter activities, while working closely with the Monaco office to develop the company’s presence in Italy. 

For Giuseppe, a proficient broker must listen carefully to the client’s expectations and needs to efficiently support them throughout the purchase phase, after-sales phase and with other required services. As part of the Moravia Yachting team, he can commit to this mantra now more than ever.

A passion for yachting is also an important attribute for a broker, and this Giuseppe has in abundance. Born in a picturesque coastal town in Liguria, Italy, Giuseppe’s affinity for sailing and boating began in his early years. He has since participated in numerous prestigious regattas, including the Copa del Rey in Palma de Mallorca, the Rolex Giraglia Trophy in St Tropez, Les Voiles d’Antibes, and the Primo Cup in Monaco. This connection with the sea has laid the foundation for his success as a broker.
