Moravia Yachting hosts charity event on board ETERNITY

By Moravia Yachting

The extraordinary evening shone a light on The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust and the incredible work being carried out by its young social entrepreneurs.

Founded in recognition of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s love for the Commonwealth and its young people, The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust (QCT) supports young leaders in transforming their communities through social ventures. As the QCT’s exclusive yachting partner, Moravia Yachting recently hosted a special charity event that was generously supported by the fantastic 65m (213ft) charter superyacht ETERNITY to help raise money for the QCT’s extremely worthy causes.

Moravia Yachting was honoured to invite two of QCT’s young social entrepreneurs to speak at the event: Brighton Kaoma and Alina Karimamusama, who flew over from Zambia especially. Alastair Callender, who launched Moravia Yachting into the Americas region, curated a special guestlist that were lucky enough to hear Brighton and Alina speak about their inspirational work and the charities that they have individually founded in Africa, one of which has saved 13,000 children to date from the horror of human-trafficking.

Moravia’s Charter and Sales Broker Alastair Callender organized the event on board ETERNITY

“It was extremely powerful and moving to hear in-person the inspirational stories of some of the young social entrepreneurs that have won awards from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II,” comments Alastair Callender. “All the guests were extremely grateful to be able to hear directly from these young leaders about the differences they are making in their communities. It’s very rewarding to use my trusted relationships with yacht owners and charter clients and connect the dots with causes that are very close to my heart.”

The unique event to raise money for the QCT was all made possible thanks to the generosity of ETERNITY’s owner, who donated the yacht for the evening, as well as her world-class crew. Captain Alden and his crew ensured the event was a tremendous success and guests enjoyed delicious canapés prepared by ETERNITY’s talented Chef Nick. Based in the stunning islands of The Bahamas, ETERNITY is available for tailor-made superyacht charter vacations.

As well as hosting this special event, the Hill Robinson Group donated to the QCT last year. The Group will continue to work with the QCT as its exclusive yachting partner, curating bespoke events at unique venues around the world, including palaces, castles, embassies, and superyachts.
