What to expect at Monaco Art Week 2025

By Moravia Yachting

Not your average gallery stroll

From 7-12 July 2025, Monaco once again becomes a gallery en plein air, with exhibitions popping up across its most elegant quarters. Thoughtfully curated and easy to wander, this is art week, Monaco-style.

Held under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II and supported by H.R.H. Princess Alexandra of Hanover, the seventh edition offers an experience that speaks to both connoisseurs and the culturally curious.

A curated cultural itinerary

This isn’t your typical art crawl. It brings together Monaco’s galleries, auction houses, and cultural spaces for a curated stroll through both the established and the emerging—a chance to discover big names and next-big-things, all within walking distance of your favourite café.

Across 15 participating galleries and auction houses, the programme balances classical masterpieces and contemporary voices, all tucked into some of Monaco’s prettiest spaces.

Highlights include:

  • Annie Leibovitz at Hauser & Wirth: A striking collection of portraits, still lifes, and landscapes
  • Marc Chagall and Fernand Léger at Opera Gallery: A celebration of colour and form with Kusama and Basquiat adding punch
  • Italian Old Masters at Moretti Fine Art: A journey through Renaissance clarity and Baroque drama
  • Corpus homini at Elisabeth Lillo-Renner: A fresh take on the male form through drawing, photography, and even jewellery
  • Street Mood at Teos Gallery: Graphic energy from the likes of Mr Brainwash and Alec Monopoly

Why Monaco Art Week matters

For collectors, it’s a rare chance to see museum-quality pieces in intimate settings. For the culturally curious, it’s a glimpse into Monaco’s growing art scene—fresh, surprising, and full of character.

And while there’s no shortage of sophistication, Monaco Art Week keeps things refreshingly accessible. With exhibitions tucked into courtyards, galleries, and unexpected corners of the Principality, it invites visitors to engage with art in a relaxed, personal way, no gallery guide required.

At Moravia Yachting, we see this celebration of craftsmanship and perspective as a natural extension of what we value most: Thoughtful curation, timeless beauty, and experiences worth remembering.

Planning your visit

Whether you arrive by tender or terrace, this is an ideal moment to anchor in Monaco. Enjoy the art, the setting, and the conversations in between.
